Our Mission
The MAIN thing we are all about here at CRCC is this: MAKING DISCIPLES
A disciple is one who follows the teaching and practices of another. For us, that person is Jesus Christ. Because we never "graduate" as a Christ-follower, we have the ability to grow deeper and mature in our faith. Our desire as a church is to make a simple process to help you in this lifelong journey.
So, how does this happen? The leaders of our church are continually and intentionally creating opportunities for YOU to experience spiritual growth.
There are THREE basic elements to our simple church strategy:
Encounter
It is our desire to see every person encounter the living God with fresh eyes and a never ending curiosity. Our weekend services serve as that entry point. We, as a church body, gather on Sunday mornings to proclaim our love for God. Attending faithfully, worshipping authentically, learning and applying God's Word and giving are all outward expressions of an inward change that we desire to see everyone experience.
Connect
The group stage is where people transition from the entry point into a smaller community where true life happens. CRCC provides many opportunities for people to connect. Your part consists of signing up, jumping in and taking the initiative to befriend someone else.
Serve
Serving is simply a natural overflow of the life of a disciple. If CrossRoads is to truly be the body of Christ, each person must understand the significance of their gifts and talents for God's kingdom and put them into use.
