A Message From Senior Pastor Rich Butler

I am excited to announce that we are renaming and re-branding our entire ministry from CrossRoads Community Church, becoming City Church! After hearing from the Lord, I really believe this new name fits us exactly as the church we have become. I often say that if the "story" people are saying in your city is not the same "story" you are saying about your ministry, then there's a HUGE problem.

For the last few years, we have certainly become a city church, both locally and globally. We have given away hundreds of thousands of dollars to our Velocity partners here in our city and through global justice initiatives. We have prioritized ministry to the poor, orphans and widows and the sick in our city and around the world.

I believe God loves cities because cities are full of people, people who need salvation, healing and deliverance.

It is also our joy to announce that Kingdom Culture Greenville will be uniting with CrossRoads Community Church to become City Church in 2012. One Church, two locations!  We will serve the cities of Simpsonville and Greenville through prayer, encounter services and connecting the Body of Christ for greater impact.  Our desire is that as City Church, we will continue to see the Kingdom of God invade our city with love, kindness and a demonstration of the Holy Spirit's power.

Please continue to pray for our leadership as we prepare for our official launch as City Church.
