City Church

I'm excited to announce that we are renaming and re-branding our entire ministry from CrossRoads Community Church to.... "CITY CHURCH"! After hearing from the Lord, I really believe this new name fits us exactly as the church we have become. I often say that if the "story" people are saying in your city is not the same "story" you are saying about your ministry... then there's a HUGE problem. For the last few years, we have certainly become a city church - (local and global) We have given away hundreds of thousands of dollars to our Velocity partners here in our city and through global initiatives in Haiti. Hundreds of our people serve our city monthly as well. I believe that God loves cities because cities are made up of people... people who need salvation, healing, and deliverance. 

We have been so pleased with the response that's come in from our people when this announcement was made in November. Our plans now are to see everything changed early in 2012, hopefully by February 1. There is a LOT of work to do, so pray for our staff and Elders as we get busy on this exciting new change!
